Getting Out - Mason Lake.

Shores of Mason Lake

Hiking has become the ultimate form of relaxation for me over the past few years. And during this crazy time of transition and unknown, it's worth the splurge on gas money every now and then to get out and go somewhere for a day, simply to clear my head and enjoy this lovely state. Especially in the fall.
A few weeks ago, a friend and I headed to Mason Lake, which is about a 45 minute drive out from Seattle. It was simply gorgeous and the lake was a little hidden oasis that begged to be relaxed at. On our hike down, Mt. Rainier decided to make an appearance.

Looking south - Rainier was popping through the clouds.

Fresh Starts & Freak Outs.

Fall is for fresh starts, blog restarts, and overall life restarts.

For turning over new leaves.

For having no idea what you are doing with your life.

And for taking the time to figure out what you should be doing with your life.

Fall is for being unemployed, fiercely broke and yet blissfully happy.

Fall is for being thankful for the time to breathe, panic, rest, play, panic, pray, work odd jobs, panic, dream, hope and trust.

And for trying not to panic more.
