Normandy
I just got back from a 2-day jaunt to Normandy... it was amazing! We drove from Nurlu to Mont St. Michael, which is beautiful and incredible - full of history. If you don't know what it is, you should Google image search it and check it out.We slept in a Formula 1 hotel that nights (also fabulous!) and set out the next morning for the Normandy beaches. These were incredible. It was wet, raining, cold, windy, and only three days after D-Day. It was really amazing to stand on the beaches and try to imagine what that day looked like.
Of course, I had to get wet - feet in the water, hours out in the rain - a wonderful day. Walking the American Cemetery was also incredible. A day full of surprises and great memories!
I'm coming home on Friday and can't wait to see you all and chat, catch up, hear about life. I hope you all are doing well and loving your June!

well, you are coming home quick, dearest! we should talk. i will be in lake tahoe... but will hopefully have good reception. LOVE YOU. (oldie!)
